Before coming to Ulpan Or I was very reluctant to try speaking in Hebrew even though I had some Hebrew experience. After only a week, my confidence level has soared and now I am no longer relunctant to start conversations in Hebrew. My teacher was so patient and welcoming that I was never embarassed or afraid to ask for help. I look forward to learning more with her in the future at a Cafe Ulpan or even by phone when I return to the US.
