In March 2008, I came to Israel on the Israel Government Fellows program, a MASA-supported program. As part of the program, I studied Hebrew at Ulpan Or for 4 months. After a mere few months, I can clearly see the progress I made in Hebrew. I came to Israel and had difficulty in understanding, speaking and writing Hebrew. I can now understand with ease and converse with confidence.
Ulpan Or’s system of learning really works. The ulpan and teachers tailor the lessons to the student’s need and wants. The materials allowed me the flexibility I needed to study Hebrew while managing my various other responsibilities. Furthermore, the teachers are excellent – prepared, professional, and fun – which made my weekly lessons enjoyable.
I am currently a Level Dalet (4) and am now prepared to begin a Master’s Degree at Hebrew University. Thank you Ulpan-Or for improving my Hebrew. I can’t thank you enough.
